Cockfield lies 7 miles from the market town of Bury St.Edmunds, famous for the Abbey Ruins and gardens. Tour of the Greene King Brewery or take in  a performance at the Theatre Royal. Both well worth a visit. The town centre host a traditional market every Wednesday and Saturday. Lavenham, just 4 miles away, has been describe as 'One of the finest medieval villages in England' with it's historic buildings and street. Tudor townhouses mingle with small crooked cottages. The splendid 16th century Guildhall of Corpus Christi (National trust) dominates the Market Place. Visit Southwold, Aldburgh, Snape Maltings or Newmarket, home of Horse Racing. Cambridge with it's fine universities, shopping, punting on the River Cam and Constable country, East Bergholt are all within reach

Services

Guests are welcome to arrive between 5 pm and 7 pm and depart by 11am. We are happy to be as flexible as possible, so please tell us if these times are not convenient. If you are staying more than one night, the apartment will be cleaned daily between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. Again alternative arrangements can be made to suit you during your stay. Should you have any special dietary needs, please let us know before you arrive and we will do our best to provide a suitable breakfast fare. All linen  and towels are provided.

Tariff:        £80 per night  apartment -   £70 per night apartment for 2 nights or more

The small print

• To confirm a booking we require a deposit of £20 per night, which will be non-refundable in the event of cancellation, unless we can re-let the apartment. It would help if you could give us as much notice as possible and we will do our best.

• Unfortunately no credit card facilities, so cash or cheque only.

• No pets.

• Strictly no smoking.

• Unfortunately the apartment is not suitable for children.

• This is a first floor apartment with stairs, so may not be suitable for everyone.
