 We have designed The Old Manse Barn to offer contemporary flexible self contained bed and
 breakfast accommodation with a modern approach. The secluded position with extensive rural views offers a private, luxury retreat  for those looking to get away from it all  - or a  'home from home' if  you are travelling on business. With its own drive, parking and entrance it's more than just a B & B. Breakfast can be found in your fridge, enjoy at your leisure, timing is up to you.  You are free to enjoy your stay in privacy. Cockfield lies 7 miles from the historic market town of Bury St. Edmunds, famous for
its Abbey Ruins and gardens. Tour the Greene King Brewery, take in a performance
at the Theatre Royal or just enjoy the thriving market, set in the town centre.
 Lavenham, just 4 miles away, has been described as one of the finest medieval villages
 in England with its historic buildings and streets. Tudor townhouses mingle with
small crooked cottages.  The splendid 16th century Guildhall of Corpus Christi
(National Trust) dominates the Market Place.
Visit Southwold, Aldburgh, Snape Maltings, or  Newmarket, home of horse
racing. Cambridge with it's fine universities, shopping, punting on the River Cam
and Constable country, East Bergholt, Flatford are all within reach.
